Pozailov spent most of his service in operational roles among the Arab populace and as an interrogator, interrogation team leader, Interrogations Department head, and deputy director of the Interrogations Branch, among other assignments. Pozailov interrogated top-level spies, agents, and terrorists who worked against the State of Israel, including Marwan Barghouti, Amir Makhoul, Muhammad Abu Tir, and Imad Qawasmeh. Since retiring from the ISA, Pozailov has been active in organizational consultancy, strategic process management, and leadership development at governmental and private organizations.
Pozailov is married and has three children. He possesses a bachelor’s degree in social sciences and a master’s degree in behavioral sciences. Additionally, he has successfully completed a senior executive program at Bar Ilan University and the Kellogg-Recanati senior executives’ program at Tel Aviv University, designed for senior executives.
