Aviv Eliyahu, 38, was the security director of the Nova festival. When the missile fire began, he rushed to the stage and instructed everyone to lay down on the ground and place their hands on their heads. He hurried to the entrance area and began directing the partygoers out of the event area. He encountered a terrorist squad, stormed and neutralized them. He then alerted the security personnel by radio to position a vehicle at the entrance to prevent the entry of terrorists. However, the vehicle came under fire from an RPG and terrorists breached the barrier. Aviv Eliyahu was killed in the ensuing battle. He is survived by his wife, two sons, parents and siblings. May his memory be a blessing.
