Staff Sergeant Yaakov Krasninski, 23 years old, formerly an Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) from Jerusalem’s Ramot Aleph neighborhood, was commander of a Border Police undercover team. He fought courageously against 150 terrorists, who invaded Kibbutz Nahal Oz on Saturday, October 7, 2023. When troops from the Israel Defense Forces arrived, they found his body surrounded by five dead terrorists. May he rest in peace.
