Yaniv Sarudi, 26, was working at the Nova rave when the terrorist attack began early Saturday morning. He took three young people he didn’t know in his car, and upon spotting five more seeking shelter in the bushes, without hesitating, he rushed to assist them under a hail of bullets fired by the terrorists from all directions. Shot in the arm and leg, he nevertheless managed to continue driving until successfully bringing the young people to safety in the Re’im base, a facility under IDF control, where they awaited rescue. He saved eight lives, including that of his partner Sivan, but sadly succumbed to his wounds. May his memory be a blessing.
