On the morning of Saturday, October 7, 2023, Lt. A and his team were suddenly deployed from Judea and Samaria to the Gaza periphery sector. Upon their arrival at the Kissufim outpost, Lt. A and his team found that 15 terrorists had taken control of the stations, with the female lookout spotters hiding in various rooms and in the situation room. Over the course of several hours of intense battle, Lieutenant A’s team, comprised of Egoz fighters, successfully regained control of the outpost, eliminated all the terrorists and rescued the female soldiers.
Tragically, three members of the team were killed in the battle for the outpost. May their memory be a blessing.
