  • Later in the night,60 Israeli fighter jets conducted another round of airstrikes in Tehran, targeting:

  • A wave of overnight strikes involved40 fighter jets dropping 100 munitions on military targets in Tehran and other regions, with an explicit goal of preventing the Arak reactor’s restoration for nuclear weapons development.
  • Heavy-water reactorslike Arak are considered a proliferation risk due to their capability to produce plutonium, a core material for atomic bombs.
  • The IAF executedover 600 aerial refuelings across the Middle East, enabling dozens of jets to operate at ranges exceeding 1,500 kilometers from Israel.

  • The strike inRamat Gan occurred near the Israeli stock exchange, within a key financial district housing multiple European and African embassies and diplomatic missions, causing massive damage.

Inside Iran

  • TheIDF issued a public message in Persian, urging concerned Iranians—including members of the security establishment—to contact Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.
  • Internet restrictionsin Iran were further tightened, with the regime accusing Israel of exploiting the network for military purposes during the conflict.
  • The regime’s internet clampdown is widely viewed as a sign of fear over potentialinternal unrest triggered by the Israeli offensive.
  • Iranian state television was hacked, reportedly by Israeli cyber operations, briefly airing footage ofwomen’s protests against modesty restrictions and encouraging public demonstrations.

Geopolitical Reactions

  • United States:
    • President Donald Trump reportedly told his staff that he has approved plans to strike Iran but is holding off to see if Iran will abandon its nuclear ambitions.
    • According to Axios, Trump inquired if the GBU-57 30,000-pound bombs could destroy Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility; Pentagon officials said this is possible, though Trump has not yet made a final decision.
    • Trump has sent mixed signals, stating: “I may do it, I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do,” and emphasizing it’s not “too late” for Iran to halt its nuclear program.
    • Trump claimed Iran even suggested sending envoys to the White House for talks to end Israel’s air assault, but also expressed frustration, saying:
      • I’ve had it, okay? I give up, no more, we go and blow up all the nuclear stuff that’s all over the place.”
    • Later, Trump argued Iran was only “a few weeks away” from a nuclear weapon before Israel intervened, and now calls for “total victory,” not a ceasefire.
    • He added: “I’m not looking to fight, but if it’s a choice between fighting and having a nuclear weapon, you have to do what you have to do. Maybe we won’t have to fight.”
    • Iran’s UN mission denied that Tehran sought negotiations with the U.S., stating: “Iran does NOT negotiate under duress, shall NOT accept peace under duress, and certainly NOT with a has-been warmonger clinging to relevance.”
    • US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee announced evacuation efforts for American citizens, including flights and cruise ships.
    • U.S. officials confirmed some diplomats and family members have been evacuated from Israel.
  • Other International Responses:
    • Countries such as Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, Spain, and Malaysia have evacuated citizens from Israel, often with assistance from other European countries.
    • Taiwan facilitated the departure of 14 Taiwanese nationals to Jordan by bus.
    • Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held discussions with French and British counterparts regarding the escalating conflict.

  • Opposition Leader Yair Lapidpublicly called on President Trump to join Israel’s military campaign against Iran.
  • Police halted broadcastsfrom several foreign news agencies at missile impact sites, citing concerns that revealing precise locations was aiding enemy targeting, especially the footage that was being aired by Al Jazeera.
  • Israeli authorities are actively restricting information on strike locations to prevent Iran from calibrating further missile attacks.
  • Defense Minister Katz labeled Khamenei “the modern Hitler,”blaming him for ordering attacks on Israeli hospitals and for dedicating all of Iran’s resources to Israel’s destruction.
  • Katz and the Prime Minister ordered the IDF to escalate attacks on Iran’s strategic and government sitesto remove threats to Israel and destabilize the regime.
  • Katz said “Adictator like Khamenei, who leads Iran and has made the destruction of Israel his banner — such a person must not be allowed to exist.”
