Military Developments

Israeli Operations

  • The IDF issued an evacuation warning for Tehran’s District 18, south of Mehrabad International Airport, ahead of strikes on military infrastructure.
  • The IDF intercepted three Iranian drones over the southern Golan Heights.
  • The IDF struck a centrifuge production facility and multiple weapons manufacturing sites in the Tehran area. More than 50 IAF jets participated in the strikes on around 20 targets. The majority of the targets struck were facilities producing components and raw materials for surface-to-surface missiles and sites for surface-to-air missiles.
  • Footage aired on IRIB shows what appears to be a crashed an Israeli Hermes 900
  • The IDF announced that it had struck and destroyed both above ground and underground Natanz nuclear sites, targeting Iran’s crucial centrifuge fleet. However, IAEA chief Rafael Grossireported to the Board of Governors that Israel failed to destroy Iran’s uranium-enriching centrifuge fleet. Multiple senior IDF sources challenged Grossi’s assessment, while another senior official said the status of the underground facility remains unclear.
  • The IDFstates it has ready plans to strike Iran’s underground Fordow nuclear facility, pending political approval. Fordow is described as Iran’s most important nuclear facility.

Iranian Attacks

  • Three separate Iranian ballistic missile attack waves targeting entire Israel on Tuesday evening. No injuries or damages were recorded.
  • Iran fired two waves of ballistic missiles at Israel overnight Tuesday, with the first barrage beginning around 12:40 a.m. and the second approximately 40 minutes later. They included 15 and 10 missiles respectively. Iran’s missile arsenal is dwindling as the attacks involve less missiles than previous attacks.
  • Only one missile hit civilian area, igniting a parking lot and damaging vehicles with no casualties as of Wednesday morning.
  • Iran reportedly downed an Israeli droneover the Isfahan area, according to IRIB – a first in this conflict.
  • Psychological warfare:An Iranian state TV channel aired a video displaying what appear to be nuclear warheads, captioned: “Maybe.”

Inside Iran

  • Israeli-linked hacker group Gonjeshke Darande (“Predatory Sparrow”)claims responsibility for a cyberattack on Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex, threatening to release its source code and internal information within 24 hours.
  • The same group also claims to havehacked Iran’s Bank Sepah. Despite the hack, reports indicate the bank’s services were not disrupted.

Geopolitical Reactions

  • USA:
    • US President Donald Trumphas not yet decided if the US will join Israel in attacks on Iran’s nuclear and military facilities. Both US and Iranian militaries are reportedly preparing for possible US involvement.
    • TheUS deployed three dozen refueling planes to Europe and put over 40,000 troops in the Mideast on high alert. Two aircraft carriers (including USS Nimitz) are heading to the region, skipping expected port calls.
    • OnTruth Social, President Trump demanded Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” and threatened Supreme Leader Khamenei, saying Washington is “holding off” on assassinating him for now.
    • Satellite images(AP) show no vessels anchored off the US Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, suggesting the US may be repositioning assets to avoid possible Iranian retaliation.
    • President Trump when asked about Director of National Intelligence testimony in March stating that Iran was no building a nuclear weapon, he said, “I don’t care what she said. I think they were very close to having one.” He added that he was looking to end the nuclear threat once and for all, “I’m looking for something better than a ceasefire… An end. A real end. Not a ceasefire. An end.”
    • President Trump wrote on his Truth Social account, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran”.
  • Iran: The UN ambassador stated thatif the US is found to be directly involved in attacks on Iran, Tehran will respond accordingly
  • UK: According to the British Defense Secretary John Healy, theUK military forces are deploying to the Middle East.
  • UAE: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayedcalled Iran’s president to express UAE solidarity with Iran during the crisis.
  • Houthi’s: The spokesperson of the terror organization, stated onAl Jazeera Mubasher that they will intervene to support Iran against Israel.
  • Japan: PM Ishiba said that Japan will never tolerate Iran’s development of nuclear weapons.

Inside Israel

  • Netanyahu: The “most important decision” was theassassination of Nasrallah, which he claims “opened the path to Iran.” He added, “After victory over Iran, a new Middle East will emerge.” About the US and President Trump, he added “Trump will do what’s right for America. I won’t interfere with his considerations.”
  • First twoflights of Israeli citizens from Cyprus have landed at Ben Gurion Airport; 2,800 are expected to return, with 19 emergency flights mostly from Europe.
  • 100,000–150,000 Israelisare stranded abroad due to airspace closures from the aerial war with Iran.
  • Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Instagram account in Persian crossed 2 million followers. Most of the followers are Iranian citizens in the age of 24-44. The account provide the Iranian people with news about Israel while emphasizing that the war is not against the Iranian nation and it’s citizens.
