During his military service, Erez held a series of senior command positions, including Assistant to the Chief of the General Staff, Infantry Brigade Commander, and Operations Officer of the Judea and Samaria Division. In the civilian sector, he served as the CEO of the Willi-Food group, CEO of Jerusalem Wineries, and Chairman of the Board at Sde Boker College. He holds a B.A. with honors in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University, an M.A. in Political Science from Haifa University, and is an honors graduate of the National Defense College.
